Who we are
Meridian Capital is based in Mumbai, India. Meridian Capital is not currently registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India as an intermediary. Content on this website is for information and education.
Overseas products are not SEBI-regulated
Overseas securities, including foreign shares, exchange-traded funds and funds domiciled outside India, are not SEBI-regulated products. Accounts held with Interactive Brokers or any other overseas broker are outside SEBI’s jurisdiction. SEBI’s investor protection and grievance mechanisms do not extend to these products or to disputes with an overseas broker. Such investments are governed by the laws and regulators of the countries where they are issued and held.
How investments are made
Investors invest in their own name, through their own brokerage account, using funds they remit under the Reserve Bank of India’s Liberalised Remittance Scheme. Meridian Capital does not hold, receive or move client money or securities. Each investor is responsible for staying within the limits and conditions of the Liberalised Remittance Scheme and the Foreign Exchange Management Act.

We do not promise, guarantee or assure any return, and no part of our fee depends on investment performance. Investments in securities markets are subject to market risks. The value of investments can fall as well as rise, and you may get back less than you invested.
Overseas and currency risk
Overseas investments carry risks in addition to those of investing in India, including movements in exchange rates, the political, economic and legal conditions of other countries, changes in Indian or foreign regulation, and tax. A stronger rupee reduces the rupee value of overseas investments.
